3 The apartment Beautiful duplex in the castle area Welcome to ' Beautiful duplex in the castle area'. To make your stay easier and smoother we have put together some information that might be useful. Our adress is: Beco da Laje, nº 15-2ºDto B Lisboa 3

4 How to get to the apartment Transfer The easiest and fastest way to get there is a transfer. Miguel will wait for you at the exit area (he will have a card with your name) and will drive you to the apartment. If you have a baby he provides a special chair for the car. He charges: up to 3 people: 15 from 8h00 until 20h00 and 20 between 20h00 and 8h00. 4 people: 20 from 8h00 until 20h00 and 25 between 20h00 and 8h00. 5 people: 25 from 8h00 until 20h00 and 30 between 20h00 and 8h00. Táxi or Uber You can also take a taxi (it should cost more or less between 15 and 20, most of the times they charge more and will make you wait), instead of a taxi you can also use Uber which is much cheaper. You should give the driver the following address, since Beco da Laje is not accessible by car: Rua de São Tomé nº 12, on the corner with Beco da Laje (when you go up the small alley it's the long yellow building on your left). Metro The closest station is Martim Moniz. Here are the links for trips from the main stations. 5 'Oriente' train station (the metro station is 'Oriente') The apartment is 600 meters away from the metro, but since the trip is uphill, and you are carrying luggage it could get a bit complicated. You can catch the tram nº 12 at Martim Moniz and get out at São Tomé (4 stations, more or less 5 minutes) please find below the routes: 5

6 Arriving with a car, where to park Since the apartment is located in the historic center it can be very hard to find a parking space. If you can't find one in the streets nearby there are two parking lots very close: Martim Moniz ( 40 per day) Campo Mártires da Pátria ( 11 per day) 6

7 Security Information In case of an emergency please call 112 In the kitchen, there is a fire extinguisher inside the cabinet under the sink, a first aid kit and a fire blanket in the cabinet on top of the cooking plate. The building also has a fire extinguisher on the 2nd floor, on the bottom of the stairs. When you leave, remember to lock the door. Wifi connection Device: Vodafone 956F47 Password: B46 Television Turn on the TV with the Blaupunkt remote control. Turn on the box with the Vodafone remote control. With this remote control you can change channels (button Guia TV) and volume. If by any chance it's not working press the source button on the Blaupunkt remote control and select the HDMI1 source. Household appliances If you have any trouble getting an appliance to function, the instructions are in the closet above cooking plate. 7

8 Garbage and recycling Garbage Use a black bag and in Largo Menino de Deus are trash containers where you can leave after 21h00 from Tuesday to Saturday. Glass Use the round green containers Plastic Use a yellow bag and in Largo Menino de Deus are trash containers where you can leave after 21h00 on Tuesdays and Saturdays Paper Use a blue bag and in Largo Menino de Deus are trash containers where you can leave after 21h00 on Thursdays 8

9 How to check out Check out has to be done until 10h30. Please leave the keys of the apartment on the table and just close the door. Leaving the bags during check out day If you leave Lisbon later than check out time and you want to store your bags there are several possibilities: If the bags are not very big you can keep them in the building and come and get them when you want during that day. The cabinet is in front of the main door of the building. When you get the bags please close the cabinet and leave the key inside the electricity counter on the left side. If the bags do not fit you can store them: Rossio metro station: Cais do Sodré, Santa Apolónia and Rossio train stations that are the closest from the apartment: 9
