Looking to meet this need a real estate development project of this type is proposed at a lot located near the Club Campestre of Cartagena. Residential Condominium Puerto Madero, offers up to 1,889 single-family and multifamily housing units in a gated community, with areas ranging from m2 and values between 200 and 400 million Colombian pesos. 95 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SECTOR AND POTENTIAL BUYERS Aware of the importance of Cartagena as an alternative to the Panama Canal for cargo handling and transit of goods from medium size ships (up to tons) and knowing that close to the lot where the development will take place you find the Bay of Cartagena and the Dique Channel, the industrial zone of Mamonal where there is current development of several important projects such as the expansion of Ecopetrol s refinery, the new port in the island of Baru, and several large industrial complexes, which concentrate a lot of people in the economic level to be potential buyers. Currently there are under construction industrial, commercial and institutional projects but no housing developments, therefore we thought in the design and construction of a housing development that meets the current needs of the market and provide its owners all the comforts that modern life requires.
