There are twelve two-bedroom apartments and four one-bedroom apartments and one house within the complex. The architect has built-in many traditional features such as flared walls, niches, copper guttering, and even a tower on one corner. All apartments have traditional beamed ceilings and Sienese cotto floors. The central piazza is reached through three arched passageways and is beautifully terraced and landscaped to provide a wonderful communal space. Location The borgo is situated on a hillside overlooking the Tiber Valley a short walk from the village of Ripalvella and just 6 miles from the town of Marsciano. Ripalvella itself has a bar and a small foodstore. It is within easy reach of Rome (95 miles), Florence (106 miles), Perugia (25 miles), Assisi (31 miles) and Orvieto (30 miles), all Beautiful historic Italian cities. Just outside the walls of the borgo is a shared swimming pool, there is also a pool house comprising toilets, changing room, shower and sauna. The gardens around the borgo are beautifully landscaped with a number of fruit and nut trees and are communal to all apartment owners and their guests. The land is fenced and gated and access is gained to the property using electronic keys. The maintenance of the gardens, swimming pool and communal areas are covered by an annual maintenance contract, managed by a condominium professional, to which all owners contribute. Other services (refuse etc) are provided via the Comune of San Venanzo which lies within the region of Terni. The borgo is accessed along a short driveway from an asphalt road leading to Ripalvella. Each apartment has a parking space with further parking for guests and both parking areas within the complex are accessed through security gates. The view from the borgo is spectacular, looking out over the Tiber Valley to the hills and mountains beyond and taking in several hilltop towns including nearby Ripalvella and the beautiful town of Monte Castello di Vibio. There is also a viewing terrace just outside the borgo overlooking this superb view. Mains gas, Electricity and Water are all connected to the apartments (there may be deposits required for non residents) and there are also connections for television and telephone.
