The lab area contains epoxy-coated concrete floors with reinforced concrete. The ceiling within the warehouse walls is exposed, with hanging fluorescent light fixtures. Heating and cooling are provided by a combination of HVAC airconditioning and gas-forced air units. In addition, the laboratory areas are highly ventilated with elephant-trunk air ducts providing air circulation to individual work areas. The roof is tar and gravel built up with modified bitumen. The building has three-phase electric with a minimum of 800 amps with emergency power backup units, explosion-proof electrical outlets (in lab area), and a sophisticated security system. Additional property features include elevator in office portion and semi-truck loading docks for up to 4 trucks at a time.
