A unique, free-standing and highly-original building set amidst water and greenery, where tranquillity and breathing space slowly melt away into the dynamism of Zuidas. The best of both worlds. THE BUILDING This pavilion, which was designed by Van Mourik Architects, oozes quality with its eye-catching natural stone frontage and characteristic copper bow. The materials used enable these pavilions to merge into the reeds and swamp vegetation along the water. The timber decks along the water have been laid out as terraces, but also cleverly conceal an underground car park. The pavilion is almost like a ship at anchor in the water of the Nieuwe Meer.
