4 A Brief History The Manor House is a charming character property dating back to the early 18th Century. The original Manor House, owned by the Duke of Manchester was burnt down and rebuilt on the current site using stone and brick which now forms part of the Manor. It is believed that the Manor was renovated and altered in 1916 in the Queen Anne revival style. The current owners have recently completed extensive remodelling and modernisation of the property which has been sympathetically done. Situation Keyston is a sought after rural village set on the Northamptonshire/ Cambridgeshire borders. It is an attractive village with a number of Listed buildings and the highly regarded, Pheasant Public House and Restaurant. The picturesque town of Kimbolton lies approximately 7 miles to the east and offers a good range of local services as well as the renowned Kimbolton School.
