The property is quite unique in its exact location, just yards from the head of the creek yet within very private lawned gardens that edge the pretty stream leading to the creek. LOCATION The Helford River and in particular Helford Village, is a remarkably sought after area for a multitude of reasons. Perhaps it greatest asset is the tranquillity of the location which has changed little over the years with colour washed thatched and slate roofed cottages clustered around the tidal creek leading south from the main river. There are a great deal of compelling reasons why many families return to Helford year after year and generation after generation, perhaps the greatest of which is to take advantage of the exceptional sheltered creeks and inlets off the Helford River, which is ideal for day sailing. The river also caters for larger yachts who enjoy its sheltered anchorages and moorings with several beaches near the mouth. The river opens into Falmouth Bay from where the Carrick Roads with Falmouth and St Mawes at its mouth, and the River Fowey are both within easy sailing distance, as are many beaches and coves along the coastline.
