4 SITUATION Woodchester lies in the valley of the Nailsworth stream and is divided into North and South Woochester. The village supports a parish Church, village hall and The Ram public house. Close by is Woodchester Park which was acquired by the National Trust to protect its delightful 18th and 19th Century park through which threads a chain of five lakes. From Rosare there are views across the valley to Rodborough Common, a large swaithe of open grassland also owned by the National Trust.
