4 SITUATION Becksteddle House is situated in the beautiful South Downs National Park to the north-west of Petersfield. It is in an elevated rural position in rolling Hampshire hills, yet convenient for the towns of Petersfield, Alton and the cathedral city of Winchester. Positioned in the hamlet of Colemore in an idyllic location near the villages of Froxfield and Privett, there are local pubs and a post office in the villages, and also a primary school.
