2 Amenities, Guidelines & Policies COTT TTAGE FURNISHINGS: Oakwood furnishes dishes, silverware, cookware, bed and bath linens, bath amenities and paper products. OAK AKWOOD PARK AREA MAP HOUSEKEEPING: Towels will be refreshed on Wednesday for weekly renters. All rentals will include a full service turnover upon departure. Please leave your rental unit in a reasonable and respectable condition. Trash should be removed from the unit and placed in outside receptacles provided. Dishes should be cleaned and stored in cabinets. Housekeeping deemed excessive by Oakwood will result in a minimum $ cleaning fee charged back to the renter. CHECK-IN & CHECK- OUT: Check-in time is 4 p.m. or after on the day of arrival. Earlier check- in may be permitted if the rental unit is ready. Checkout time is by 11 a.m. on the day of departure. Check in/out is handled by the Front Desk at the Oakwood Inn. KEY DEPOSIT: A twenty- dollar cash key deposit will be applied at check in. After returning your cabin or cottage key at check out you may receive your deposit of twenty dollars in return. PIERS: Piers are available in the channels for small boats. The rental cost of a pier is $15.00 per day. QUIET TIME: In consideration of all residents and guests, we request a daily quiet time from 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. GARBAGE REMOVAL SERVICE: Garbage is removed from Oakwood Monday and Friday. We request that all garbage be put in tightly closed garbage bags before being placed in trashcans. As a consideration for the next renter coming in Saturday, please put out as much trash as possible Friday morning. For your convenience, trash containers are placed outside each cottage, and a dumpster is located by the campground or in the west parking lot. BOAT T RENTALS ALS: Pontoon, boat and wave runner rental referrals are available at the Front Desk of the Inn. 3 KIMMEL RETREAT T HOUSE Provides meeting space, a kitchen, and lodging. The large dining/meeting area, kitchen, half bath, and lounge area are all located on the first floor. The second floor provides 12 rooms and can sleep a total of people. Each room has a half bath and there are shower rooms at either end of the main hallway. To accommodate larger groups, nearby cottages can be used for overflow lodging. Your group may do its own cooking in this facility. All areas are air conditioned. Limit 27 TRAFFIC REGULATIONS TIONS: Please observe all speed limit signs. Please check at the Inn s front desk for information about designated parking areas. ADVANCE ANCE PAYMENT YMENT: An advance payment of one-half of the total rent, including tax, payable to Oakwood by check or credit card, is required at time of reservation to guarantee the reservation. The balance, including taxes, is due upon arrival. REFUNDS: Refunds for rental deposits can only be executed if cancellations are made 30 days or more in advance of the arrival date during our winter season. Deposit for summer rentals are non-refundable. RESERVATIONS TIONS: You may reserve park rentals 9 months in advance. June reservations can be reserved on Sept 1 st at 12:01 A.M. July reservations may be made on Oct. 1 st at 12:01 A.M. August reservations may be reserved on Nov. 1 st at 12:01 A.M. *OAKWOOD IS A CHRISTIAN RETREAT AND FAMILY CENTER. ALCOHOLIC BEVER- AGES AND /OR DRUGS ARE PROHIBITED, SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN OAKWOOD OWNED BUILDINGS, ON THE WATERFRONT, OR ON THE PLAYGROUND. Oakwood encourages everyone who is renting a cabin on a weekly basis to bring thier own linens and towels. Limited service is available. Thank you. State an local taxes apply on all cottage and cabin rentals. Please call for tax rates.

4 55 ELIZABETH Three-bedroom cottage with 7 double beds, screened in porch, 1 ½ baths with shower, kitchen, living room, gas heater and range. The cottage also offers a window unit air-conditioner. The back of the cottage overlooks the playground. Limit 14*. CABIN 8 Two room cabin with kitchen/dining/living area, two dormitory bedrooms (three sets of bunk beds in each bedroom). In the living room is a pullout sofa. The cabin has two bathrooms containing four toilets, six lavatories, one tub, one shower, central air conditioning, and telephones with voice messaging service and computer data ports. Limit 10

5 CABINS 6&7 Cabin 6 and 7 are two bedroom cabins with an open full kitchen/ dining/living area. (One queen size bed set of bunk beds, and a rollaway bed in one bedroom. Three sets of bunk beds in the second bedroom) A pull out queen sofa sleeper in living area. In the cabin you will find two full bathrooms containing four toilets, six lavatories, one tub, one shower, gas furnace, gas range, central air conditioning, telephones with voice messaging service and computer data ports. Limit DEERPORT Five-bedroom cottage with six single beds, two queen bed, 2 full baths, kitchen, living/dining room, laundry room, electric range, central air conditioning, dishwasher, washer/dryer. This cottage also has a lovely screened in front porch with a view of the lake and a back porch also. Limit 10

6 62 PIONEER Cottage with a front porch facing the lake, four bedrooms with one twin bed & 6 double beds, two bathrooms with shower stalls. Full kitchen, living room, dining room and parlor. The Pioneer also has a gas range, central air conditioning, and a washer and dryer unit. Limit 13. CABIN 5 Cabin 5 has an open full kitchen and living room with one bedroom. The bedroom has a queen size bed, and one set of bunk beds, and a rollaway bed. The living room has two sofa sleepers. The cabin also has two full bathrooms. For your comfort it has central air conditioning, gas furnace, telephones with voice messaging service and computer data ports, a back patio with a picnic table and gas grill. Limit 10.

7 CABINS 1,2,3,4 The cabins have a studio concept full kitchen/living room with two dormitory style bedrooms, (two sets of bunks and one single bed in each dorm room), futon sofa in living area, four toilets, six lavatories, two showers, gas range, gas furnace, central air conditioning and telephones with voice messaging service and computer data ports. Limit 10 per Cabin. 78 OAK AKWAYNE Cottage with a screened-in front porch, six bedrooms, four double beds, four single beds, 1-3/4 baths, kitchen, living room, family room on lower level, gas range, gas furnace, and window air conditioner. Limit 12.

8 79 IN-B TWEEN Cottage with three bedrooms, three double beds, two single beds, one bath w/tub, kitchen, and living room. The cottage also has a gas range, and two wall air conditioning units. Limit 8* 94 HAZENFIELD Seven room cottage located on channel with a screened-in porch. The Hazenfield also has two bedrooms, the first bedroom has two queen size beds, and the second bedroom has one queen size bed. The cottage also offers two pull out sofa sleepers, two full baths, full kitchen, living room/dining area, family room, electric range, gas furnace, central air conditioning, washer/dryer, dishwasher. 9 90 BAY VIEW I Bay View is located on Lake Wawasee. It has three bedrooms, the first bedroom has two twin size beds. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. A king ize bed is located in the third bed. Also a full bathroom is located in the third bedroom, with an elevated bathtub. Bay View I has an open large living room, kitchen and dining area. A second bathroom is located off of the living room. A pull out queen sofa may be used for additional sleeping. A sitting room is also featured in this cottage. This cottage has central air, gas furnace and fireplace. For your convenience a washer/dryer and dishwasher are included in this cottage. A pier space is also included in the price of this cottage. Limit HILLSIDE Cottage with a glassed/screened-in back porch, five bedrooms with five double beds, two single beds, two bathrooms with tub and shower. Hillside has a full kitchen, living room. The cottage also offers gas range, gas furnace and two window air conditioner units. Limit 12

10 83 MARGARETH Cottage with an enclosed back porch facing the channel. The cottage has three bedrooms; each bedroom contains a double size bed. The Margareth also has one bathroom with tub/shower, full kitchen, living room, and dining room. For your comfort it also has two window air conditioner units and a gas furnace. Limit BAY VIEW II Three bedroom cottage located on the channel. The first bedroom has twin size bunk beds. The second bedroom has a full size bed. The third bedroom has a queen size bed. This cottage has an open effect living room, kitchen and dining area. Bay View II has one full bathroom. Beautiful windows facing the channel give this cottage a wonderful view of the channel. Bayview II has a gas furnace and an air conditioner unit so you may rent the cottage in the winter. A pier space is also included in the price of this cottage. Limit 6*
